Job Summary

We are looking for motivated and professional Healthcare Virtual Assistants to support US-based healthcare providers as an extension of their clinical and administrative teams. The role involves providing comprehensive front-office, back-office, and clinical support while ensuring exceptional patient service, operational efficiency, and HIPAA compliance.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage patient appointments, including scheduling, rescheduling, confirmations, and cancellations.
  • Handle inbound and outbound patient calls while providing professional, timely, and patient-centered communication.
  • Perform insurance eligibility and benefits verification, referral coordination, and prior authorization processing.
  • Maintain accurate patient records through EMR/EHR documentation, patient registration, chart updates, medical scribing, and patient charting.
  • Assist with medication refill requests, lab result reviews, coding support (where applicable), and other clinical and administrative workflows.
  • Provide day-to-day operational and administrative support to US-based healthcare providers while maintaining HIPAA compliance and patient confidentiality.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree (Healthcare background preferred).
  • Preference will be given to candidates with MBBS, BDS, Pharm-D, DPT, Nursing, or other Allied Health qualifications. Candidates from other disciplines with relevant experience are also encouraged to apply.
  • Excellent spoken and written English with clear, professional communication skills.
  • Knowledge of medical terminology, US healthcare workflows, and familiarity with EMR/EHR systems is preferred.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask, maintain attention to detail, and work effectively in a collaborative team environment.
  • Willingness to work permanent night shifts (US business hours) and function as a dedicated remote extension of US-based healthcare teams.
  • Prior experience in US healthcare operations, medical scribing, care coordination, medical billing, or related healthcare support roles will be considered an advantage.
