We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior DevOps Engineer proficient in both Amazon Web Services (AWS) and Google Cloud Platform (GCP) to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have extensive knowledge of AWS and GCP services, proficiency in Kubernetes and WAF, and a strong background in operating systems such as Ubuntu, RedHat, CentOS, and Debian. The candidate should also have expertise in DevOps tools like Terraform, Kubernetes, and Docker, as well as versioning tools like GitHub and GitLab. Additionally, proficiency in scripting languages such as Python and Bash, along with a deep understanding of infrastructure security, is essential for this role.

Responsibilities:

• Design, implement, and maintain cloud infrastructure solutions on AWS and GCP, leveraging a wide range of services such as EC2, S3, Lambda, Google Compute Engine, Google Kubernetes Engine (GKE), etc.
• Architect highly available, scalable, and fault-tolerant systems to meet business requirements and performance goals.
• Implement infrastructure as code (IaC) using tools like Terraform, CloudFormation, or Deployment Manager.
• Develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines to automate software delivery processes using tools like Jenkins, GitLab CI/CD, or CircleCI.
• Implement blue-green deployments, canary releases, and other deployment strategies to ensure zero-downtime deployments.
• Set up comprehensive monitoring and logging solutions using AWS CloudWatch, GCP Stackdriver, ELK stack, or similar tools.
• Implement version control using GitHub and GitLab for source code management.
• Develop and maintain Bash and Python scripts for automation and tooling.
• Create custom metrics and alerts to proactively identify and resolve issues before they impact the system.
• Implement security best practices and compliance standards in the cloud environment, including network security, identity and access management (IAM), encryption, and data protection.
• Conduct regular security assessments and audits to ensure compliance with industry regulations and company policies.
• Optimize cloud infrastructure performance and resource utilization to achieve maximum efficiency and cost-effectiveness.
• Monitor resource usage and implement cost-saving strategies such as reserved instances, spot instances, and auto-scaling.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including developers, QA engineers, and system administrators to understand requirements and provide scalable solutions.
• Document infrastructure architecture, configuration, and processes to facilitate knowledge sharing and ensure maintainability.
• Troubleshoot complex technical issues in the cloud environment, including system failures, performance bottlenecks, and security incidents.
• Participate in on-call rotation and respond to incidents promptly, following established incident response procedures.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's/Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
• 5+ years of experience as a DevOps Engineer, with a focus on cloud platforms (AWS and GCP).
• Proficiency in designing, implementing, and managing cloud infrastructure using AWS and GCP services.
• Strong understanding of CI/CD pipelines, version control systems (e.g., Git), and software development methodologies.
• Hands-on experience with infrastructure as code (IaC) tools such as Terraform, CloudFormation, or Deployment Manager.
• Familiarity with containerization and orchestration technologies such as Docker, Kubernetes, and Helm.
• Excellent troubleshooting skills and the ability to analyze complex technical issues.
• Hands-on experience with Web Application Firewalls (WAF) and implementing security policies.
• Strong understanding of operating systems such as Ubuntu, RedHat, CentOS, and Debian.
• Proficient in versioning tools such as GitHub and GitLab for source code management.
• Strong scripting skills in Python and Bash for automation and tooling.
• Deep understanding of infrastructure security principles and best practices.
• Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams, including developers, QA engineers, DevOps, and product managers.
• Capable of taking ownership of tasks, managing priorities, and working independently with minimal supervision.
• Relevant certifications such as AWS Certified DevOps Engineer, Google Professional Cloud DevOps Engineer, or equivalent certifications preferred.
